About Jimmy Ray

My dad chose Norfolk as his place to retire from the Navy in 1971 and I have called Hampton Roads my home ever since. The middle child of 5 boys, I learned the art of diplomacy early on in life in order to keep the peace. That trait serves me well in my radio and real estate careers. Radio started for me in 1983 at WNOR FM-99. In 1991 I moved to country station 97.3 The Eagle and am still there today weekday afternoons 3-7. I received my Virginia Real Estate license in 2015 and have so enjoyed helping my southeastern Virginia neighbors buy and sell real estate! I take pride in dedicating my professional energies full time to both of my careers. I have always enjoyed helping people and charities with my radio show and getting folks through a real estate transaction with minimal drama and angst and with maximum money in their pocket is equally as satisfying. My knowledge of our area, transactional expertise together with my network of licensed contractors, realtors, financial institutions and legal eagles is the secret sauce to my success.
